    Hey,
Unfortunately I keep getting bad feedback from my clients regarding the way users manage their profile picture in Active Social. The problem is that the users have no indication that the photo was uploaded successfully. First they do not see the picture before they refresh the page (for those who are aware of that) and second they have no communication from the interface (a message) that something good or bad has happened. Frankly this feature doesn't meet the high standards of Active Social.

For a while now I was thinking of creating my own profile picture module to providing users with good user experience with their profile picture editing. Does anybody aware of such a solution? In the meantime I'd love to get some ideas how to improve active social because the stream of complaints from my clients is unpleasant to say the least.

    Thanks,
    David

I completely agree David: my very first tester could not figure out how to upload pics due to this non-refresh issue. That tester was me. I never think about having to refresh a screen to see the effect of uploading a file.

Taking this a step further: there are a number of areas within AS and AF that could use the valued feedback from an unbiased user. Case-in-point: there are numerous "buttons" that are mere images that provide *no* feedback that a click was activated. This is causing me numerous admin calls for help.
