    Hey,

I haven't tested this enhancement  (AS 1.9) but there is a feature that I've been looking for awhile now. I need to create something that looks like a calendar (e.g. the core event calendar of dnn). Is it possible to customize the way events are presented to look like the typical event calendar view? If so I would like to see some examples or be advise of relevant article.

    Thanks,
    David

Can someone please refer to this question? A simple yes it is possible (to create calendar event view) or ' no it's not possible look for another solution' will definitely do. The lack of this kind of support is precisely why I don't care to loose features in return to the source code that will free me from this endless waiting for answers.

No, a calendar view is not possible.

    Hi David,

I am not sure if it is possible, or if anyone has even attempted this. I know there was discussion of a calendar view back with the old events system (pre AS1.3.0) but I do not know how far it got.

All the events data is stored in the dbo.activesocial_Journal table, and it is probably possible to create a custom journal template to display it. But I am not sure exactly how you would get the correct data to show on the correct calendar date.

Edit: Will responded faster than me.
