Here is a link just in case you haven't noticed the new Advanced Customization and API forum.

Not all of us have access to the Beta or to the advanced customization forum?
I am using the latest AS/AF/DNN available.
    Thanks.

That forum was setup for based upon your Active Social Support package. Anyone with access to the downloads should now have access.

    Thank you, Will.

Not that I have enough knowledge to do anything with it but it feels good to be in the loop and I was curious too.

Thanks for the access though. I like the new App thingy.

I am glad I choose AS.

1.8 Beta Release regression testing is going well. Some IE bugs on one of my troubled sites look like they have been resolved.

Couple of things: 1. Are the journal security options on all Journal Types? I don't see the security padlock icon on the Share Link and RSS.

    2. I setup a new Journal Type and the Summary filter link doesn't have a Label. It renders as the RESX token ([RESX:JF:BUSINESS]) value instead of the label from the Resources file.

You need to enable this on the Journal Options in the Control Panel. You select which security options are available to members.

The security options for links and rss won't appear until after the first step.

    2. I setup a new Journal Type and the Summary filter link doesn't have a Label. It renders as the RESX token ([RESX:JF:BUSINESS]) value instead of the label from the Resources file.

The RESX entry isn't being created yet. We have this commented out of the code right now because it was slowing down testing. Making changes to resource files triggers an app restart.
