Active Social 1.6 has many small improvements. You can see the full release notes in the Knowledge Base. If you have modified any of the group templates you should take a close look a the release notes and the list of templates that were updated. Your existing templates will still work, but you should update them eventually. Active Social 1.6 is running on this site and activesocial.com. We are
working on updating documentation and expect to post the final release
later this evening.
On a slightly different topic, anytime we get close to a product release we start to see posts pop-up about what people hope to see. Some of you noticed that I posted the release notes for 1.6 several weeks ago. I have been using that to help keep everyone aware of progress and what to expect. However, it can be difficult to keep up with all the posts across all the forums. If there is a feature you would like to see added to Active Social, please make sure you post the request in the Feature Requests forums. That is the best way for us to track and gauge the interest level of customer requests. We may not reply to every post, but we do read them all.
