Does anyone know if there is the ability to provide a formal warning or caution to a user that has posted something inappropriate?  We'd like a formal caution should be visible to moderators and administrators for a period of 3 months, unless manually removed beforehand.

What this requirement is looking for is to have a user formally “warned” and then for those warnings to be visible to both the user and admins/moderators. Does the user know he's not "trusted" anymore?

    Thanks!

There is no functionality built into the module for this, but could you just create a role called "Warned" or something, then add the user to the role, with an expiry date of 3 months. Then display the name of the role on the PostInfo template, using the token [ROLES:Warned] (Although this would be visible to all users, not just admins)

A user does not know if they are marked as not trusted, but they will probably realize that all their posts are moderated.

I was thinking the same thing, but wanted to make sure there wasn't another option out there.

Was also thinking of putting the warning message in a text module that is only visible to users in the "warned" role...so they would be the only ones to see it.

    Thanks for your help Ben!
