I've installed vanity urls for the As forums.

I created a topic using the Discussions tab in a group, and it created a vanity URL for that topic. When I was viewing the topic in the context of the group discussions tab, it did not show the Topic vanity url, because it is still showing the URL to the Active Social group details page. I went to the forum module, and clicked on the topic I had just created and it was displayed correctly, with a vanity url.

Did you add a vanity name to the forum group, forum and sub-forum where the topic was created? You may need to add these manually.

I think Will told me once that the two vanity url handlers are not working together in the current versions. So a forum topic like this one:

would not look like you might expect within a group forum

He mentioned that this could be in a future release...but I'm not sure of the roadmap with the DNN release plan at this point.
