    Hi all,

I have an established site running AF 3.6.10 on DNN 4.9.5 without issues - just never got round to the AF 3.7 then 4.x upgrade route. Now seeing the plans for Core AF integration later in the year perhaps now is the time to get ready.

I am now looking at getting DNN to the latest version and so far my tests (on a staging server) have shown a succesful upgrade to DNN5.6.1 with a fully functional AF3.6.10.

So my questions are can I now upgrade from AF 3.6.10 to AF Lite 4.3.5 ?

Do i still need to go via AF3.7 and if so how can I obtain a copy?

Should I upgrade DNN to 5.6.1 first then upgrade AF   or    Upgrade AF first to 4.3.5 (via 3.7?) then upgrade DNN ?

Any advice or suggestions on this would be much appreciated.... as im simply not sure where I stand regards upgrades during the AF to core transistion.

    Many thanks in advance

    Chris

    Chris,
To be perfectly honest, I would suggest waiting a little bit longer unless you have an absolute need to upgrade. I am a little surprised that AF 3.6 is running under DNN 5.6, but if it works then great!

An upgrade from 3.6 to 4.x usually requires some level of support and that will be difficult with LITE. We will have several different upgrade paths when the new forum module is released.
