I am currently running DNN 5.6.2, planning an upgrade to 6.1.

I have Active Forums 4.2.7 installed. Will that make it through the upgrade, or do I need an upgraded version of AF?

I understand AF will be part of DNN at some point soon. I had thought it would be included with DNN 6.1, but apparently not. Any word on that?

I am about to upgrade DNN 5.6.3/AF 4.3.6 to DNN 6.1.2/ ?? Will my 4.3.6 upgrade without drama? I did dredge through the posts here but never got a solid feeling that said, Yes."

When and if ths excellent forum module product "becomes" the core, I will cheer, but I can't wait and am not worried about it.

No, you will need AF 4.3.7 or 4.3.8. If you don't have access to them here or on snowcovered, send me a private message with your license information.

I just bought what snowcovered offered last week and it was 4.3.6; I immediately checked for a patch/hotfix and there were none. It appeared to be the latest offering. I still have your email from ast year when I stood the forum up originally...I'll write you later today.

Not so fast...I just checked my Downloads on Snowcovered and found 4.3.8, although when I bought it on 2/1 I am certain it was 4.3.6 that I was offered to download....in any event I now have 4.3.8 and I appreciate your prompt reply this morning, Ben.
