I have recently started getting lots of AF errors. The only thing that has changed is that I have lot of traffic these days:

Also, my forum is causing 100% cpu usage. I don't know whether there is a corrupt record or something in it. Can anyone please help me with it?

1) Quite common. Caused only by the bot that is mentioned in the entry. It can be ignored.
2) Not caused by Active Forums or Active Social. That is a corrupt viewstate error which is usually caused by a bot.
3) Means that something caused your app to recycle or killed the scheduler. Nothing we can do about it.
4) Some how you have a user with an invalid email address entry.
5) Not enough information, but I'm guessing a bot as well.


Typically the only thing that would cause this would be overuse of the Top Posts module. I believe you mentioned in another thread that you had 4 instances of the top posts module on a page. That would definitely cause an increase in cpu usage.

Great reply Will. I think it might be nice to pin a post somewhere that discusses some of these types of items and provides the clear and brief explanation that you just gave. It might save some support time in the future.

I have two top posts modules on the home page. One displays 90 topics only from 4 different forums and the other shows latest 10 replies from the same 4 different forum. This is the only page I use top posts module on. Is this use still enough to cause 100% cpu usage plus use of 3GB RAM?
