W
e are having issues with permissions. We have 2 groups. Both have the the same security role aselected under the subscribe column. However, when you login as an attorney you see subscribe under one but not the other. Any ideas?

Are the forums in both groups inheriting from the group settings?

If this is an urgent issue and you have a access to help desk support you are more than welcome to create a support ticket. Some issues are much more difficult to troubleshoot in the context of the forum. This is especially true when we don't have much information to go on. If you can't create a ticket then you will need to reply with AF Version, DNN Version and Screen captures of all your forum settings.

Maybe this will help. We had inherit group settings checked. Both sets of groups had the exact same settings checked. However, I just checked at the Forum Name level and they had slightly different settings. Which should not of mattered since they both had inherit group settings checked. So it appears that inherit group settings is not working. Any ideas?

If you aren't running Active Forums 4.2.7, then I would suggest downloading and installing before we do any further troubleshooting.
