    • Active Forums Version: 4.3.4
    • DotNetNuke Version: 5.6.1
    Good morning,

I am having an issue getting the permissions to work on an Active Forums install -- I suspect this may be due to a prior Active Social integration, but I have not been able to resolve it.

    AF Express 4.3.4
    DNN 5.6.1

Here is the gist of the situation:  On the Control Panel | Forums | | Security, I do not see any roles available to assign permissions.  The green 'add' icon is not hot linked and is slightly out of place.  As such I am unable to assign any permissions.  At the bottom of the panel, this message appears, "Invalid object name 'dbo.activesocial_Groups'.".  I do not have Active Social integration selected.

I purchased Active Social Express and initially installed both AS and AF.  I later realized that, for my site, AS was probably overkill and I just needed the use of the forums.  I uninstalled the AS module.  Prior to removing AS, my AF permissions were fine.

    What I've tried:
     - Remove AF and reinstall.  This does not fix the issue (and I have done it twice)
     - Remove AF Express and install AF Lite.  This works, but Lite doesn't meet my needs.

Anyone have any suggestions for next steps?  I've attached a couple of screenshots of the issue.

    Thanks!
    Jason

If you don't need to preserve any forum content I would suggest installing Active Social and Active Forums. Then reinstall Active Forums Express which should resolve any issues you are having.
