Hi All 1. I'm having an issue with the MODLINK token in the moderator emails. For some reason it's inserting a ~ into the email links it send to moderators - www.example.com~/Default.aspx?tabid=538&aff=19&afv=topic&aft=11. 2. The second issue is the moderators cannot see the moderate button in the breadcrumb bar. See attached. Any prompt assistance would be greatful. Mark |

1. Check you portal aliases, make sure they are correct and complete. 2. I see the word moderate in your screen shot. However if you mean other account besides the one you took the screenshot with can not see it, make sure you have given those accounts the ModApprove permission in the security grid for each forum or group. |

Hi Ben It is another account that cannot see the moderate link. These accounts are in a DNN security role with the ModApprove permission in the security grid and they cannot see the moderate link. I will check out the portal aliases. The thing is subscription emails have the link perfect in their emails, it's just the MODLINK email that has the bad link. Could you advise where the MODLINK token populates the link from? There must be a file somewhere the token takes sections of the link from? Thanks Mark |

Do moderators have to be site wide admins? It appears no matter what MOD security permissions they are given, they cannot see the moderate button. I've looked into the portal aliases and they were correct. I did look at the friendly URL setting in host and disabled them for testing. It appears to have fixed the link issue. Mark |

This issue was resolved in version 4.2.5: FIX - Moderator permission only applied to admins You will need to upgrade to a version newer than that. If you purchased on snowcovered, I would check your downloads section there, you may have a newer version available for download. |

Will upgrading lose all the existing posts?

Do I need to purchase a newer version? Or is this a fix available? |

No you will not lose any content. Check your download section on snowcovered, if you do not see the latest version (4.3.6) available for download, send me your purchase details (serial and invoice) in a private message. |

Did the upgrade and now get an error. I see in another post it suggest deleting the instances (I assume this will delete all existing posts?) and atrying again. Error is: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'FULLTEXT' Key being added: 'FULLTEXT' |

Where do you get this error? Try restarting the application from the host settings menu. |

I got the error on the page where the instance of AF is placed. It was after restarting the application that the problem appeared. It took the forums down for 1 hour while we had to load a backup - we are now stable on the original version but have no moderate option available in the toolbar for any moderators.

Try installing the module again, it seems that you might have had a problem during the installation last time. |
