I'm having an issue with the "My Profile" > "About Me" section not saving any changes. This includes the text inputs and avatar image. I've logged on as both a host and regular forum user and both account types have the same problem. Is there an additional setting that I need to turn on, or is this just flat out not working? I'm using DNN 5+ and Active Forums 4.2.3. If it makes any difference, I'm working on a development server and have not activated the license yet (all other features have worked fine so far).

Update: I just noticed that under My Profile, the "Admin Settings" doesn't work either. I get the message saying that the changes have been saved, the page reloads, and when I go back to the admin settings tab, all of my inputs have been cleared out.

To save the avatar and signature, you need to make sure you have enabled them on the Community tab of the settings page in the control panel.

The admin settings should always save. Are you getting a javascript error on the page? Any error in the DNN event viewer?

Those options have been enabled the whole time.

I'm also not getting any javascript errors. I'll have to get back to you on the DNN event viewer. We disable that function on our installs because of how much space it eats up. Once I get our hosting department to re-enable it I'll let you know if I see anything in there.

Everything else has worked out fine so far, it's just the user management section that's giving me issues.

This was a bug in 4.2.3. Upgrading to Actve Forums 4.2.7 will correct this issue.

They are available in the downloads section. You must be logged in using the account that originally made the purchase.

I purchased the module through Snowcovered and I didn't see any kind of update through there.

You will need to download the latest version from our site. When you purchased from Snowcovered an account was automatically created for you which has access to the downloads section on our site. Full details were sent to the email account associated with your Snowcovered purchase. If you need this information sent to you again please email sales@activemodules.com.

I have a very serious issue caused by the upgrade. It has caused most of my forums that were created to disappear. The "what's new" module can still find them but the forum module itself cannot. Also, we can no longer add new forums.

It sounds like you installed Active Forums Lite, not Active Forums Express which you already had installed.

You will need to download the latest version from our site. When you purchased from Snowcovered an account was automatically created for you which has access to the downloads section on our site. Full details were sent to the email account associated with your Snowcovered purchase. If you need this information sent to you again please email sales@activemodules.com.

It is important that you log in with the account associated with your purchase.

Sorry about that guys! I've somehow accumulated 3 logins to the site, someone else at the office purchased the module, and I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off! Hopefully this does the trick!
