I would like the ability to have members insert photos in their posts. I do not see this option in the default editor. I assume I need to change to another editor like FCK to allow this to happen. I want to make it as simple as possible so members do not have to use code.

I searched all the settings in the control panel and could not find settings for the editor. I did not see specific info on this in the admin documentation either.

Can someone point me in the right direction for a solution to this?

This can be enabled through the forum features setting in the control panel. Users (with permission) can upload attachments through the post/reply. Images can be thumbnailed (or not) and show within the post body (see below).

You can try this yourself by replying to my topic and opening the "Attachments" section.

I noticed I had not given registered users the authority to use attachments, so that was the culprit.

If i want to switch to another editor, where would I find that setting?

In the control panel under features. You can select the ActiveEditor of the default DNN editor. To change the default DNN Editor you would need to follow instructions for that specific editor.

Hi Steven, I'm having trouble finding that option. Is it in the main forum control panel? If so, I do not see that option under community settings\features.
