    • Active Forums Version: 4.1
    • DotNetNuke Version: 4.9.5
It looks like the latest upgrade to Internet Explorer is having some issues with the ActiveForums. All formatting menus are absent and even paragraphs and line breaks placed within the text box never survive. That’s pretty much how Safari acts, so for Mac guys, we recommend Firefox, but given the huge market share that IE enjoys, I feel less comfortable making the recommendation to simply use another browser.

I just ran into this in IE 8 also on the Code5Systems Active Forums support Forum.  I typed in 3 paragraphs and it only displayed the first and third paragraph.

    Anyone else having these issues?

    Hi Charles,
Not sure what version you are running, but Code5Systems seems to be running an early version of AF 4.2. If you look at our release notes, you can see that we had an update last September that addressed issues with ActiveEditor for recent browser updates. It also depends on what HTML editor you are using. If you are using the Default DNN Editor then you will probably need to upgrade DNN as well.

    Thanks,
