Not sure why but I am unable to enable the Tags and Categories created for my Active Forum

this was definitely a "derp" moment.

How did you solve your issue?

I cannot add Categories to pozts even though Security for the Forum has Tag abd Catagorize checked and I have created Categories in the Control Panel and assigned them to the forum.

Anyone else having this issue?

The Tag option appears below a post but not Catagories.

I tried clearing my browser cache and restarting my site to no avail.

Perhaps I need to create all new forums and try that since this forum was created before the caegoty feature was added!!?! Just a guess.

Make sure the Categories section and control are in your TopicEditor template. In my TopicEditor.txt it looks like this:

[AF:UI:SECTION:CATEGORIES]
   [AF:CONTROL:CATEGORIES]
[/AF:UI:SECTION:CATEGORIES]

Thanks! I was using the "TopicEditor" whuch did not have these tokens! When I switched to "Default" the Categories appeared! I thought that the TopicEditor was a core template and would therefore have the latest updates!

Default is the core template.

No, it is module instance specific template so that you any changes you make will be preserved during upgrades.
