I'd love some way to search and find all messages by userid/username. A nicely formatted URL or url-hackable search box. The AF search feature includes a "username" text box, but it still requires a search term. I'd like it to find all posts by a user without a search term specified. Any luck getting something like this soon?

I have had that problem also, that when you type in the displayname of a user in the "Search By User" location, you must type something into the search input field also.

I then just decided to not put nothing in the "Search By User" location and just include the display name in the search input field, and it does show back all the posts that user's display name was involved in.

I dont know if there is any other easy way.

Not really an accurate way to do it.. Brings up posts by other members mentioning that member in their posts.. In the release notes for 4.2.5 it is mentioned that this is fixed...

This is fixed for the standard search in AF 4.2.5, but we didn't get to adjust the full-text search yet.

I have a link from the PRofile to search for all posts by that user (check http://www.pokerdiy.com/rod.aspx for an example - it works ok).
    thanks

    Rodney,

The only problem to your example, which I also use on my site, is that it will only show the first page of results for that user's old posts.

Try clicking on any of the other pages, 2, 3, 4.. They will be blank, because it doesnt have the query to base the USERID off of.

So what I did, was on the forum profile view, I just labeled the link, VIEW LAST 20 POSTS. That way they understand that they cannot see any of the other pages.
