The attached text file contains a sql script that will attempt to correct an issue that prevents a successful upgrade to DotNetNuke 5.x. Any site that has had Active Forums 2.x up until 3.7.8 may encounter this problem.

We suggest that you run this script before you upgrade to DotNetNuke 5.

Follow the steps below to properly execute the script.

    1) Click the link below to download the script.
    2) Save the file and then open with Notepad.
    3) Select all of the text in the file.
    4) From the NotePad menu, click Edit then click Copy.
    5) Go to your DotNetNuke site and login with a host or super user account.
    6) From the Host menu, select the SQL menu item.
    7) Place your cursor in the large text box
    8) From the menu on your Browser, click Edit then click Paste. You can also use your keyboard by pressing Ctrl then V (Ctrl+V)
    9) Scroll all the way to the end of the text press the enter key one or two times. This will prevent a fairly common error.
    10) Now click the check box next "Run as Script"
    11) Now click the link button that says "Execute"

You should now see "The Query completed successfully!"

Please create a new topic in this forum if you receive any other errors.
