    • DotNetNuke Version: 5.6.0
    Hi
I installed the express version of the module. Configured it to enable the custom attributes. Configured the security to allow the use of the features, but it stays greyed out and unavailable at all times.
Please assist me in getting this working.
    Regards.

Custom fields is only available with Active Forums Enterprise. You can see the feature breakdown on our page at Snowcovered.

It looks like Will has responded to your post in the Community Forums: http://www.activemodules.com/active...eyed-out/. Polls and attachments should be available in Active Forums Express, but custom fields are not available. Please continue to update your post to receive support.

I want to use the Attachments and Polls as it should be included for use in the Express Version as per the confirmation above.

Nothing is preventing attachments or polls from working in Express. If they are enabled, then you should be able to expand the each section under the topic editor to create your poll or upload attachments.

I'm not sure what you mean by greyed out. Active Forums doesn't grey out features. It sounds like you are probably getting a javascript on the page that is preventing you from being able to click on the expand/toggle arrow to the right of each feature. You might want to post some screen captures of what you are seeing on the page.

    Hi
Nothing happens when I click on the link for attachments. I also do not get any errors referring to security etc.
I just appears as if the functionality is disabled.
    Thanks

What browser are you using? Have you tried using another browser?
Does it happen if you switch to the default DotNetNuke skin?
Do you have any other modules on the page? If so, remove them and see if the problem still occurs.
