We have recently updated to ActiveForums-04.01.19-EXP. Now the search option is not working anymore. I get the following error; Conversion from string "abc..." to type 'Integer' is not valid. Does anyone has the solution for this problem?

We are having the same problem with the same version. This renders search useless. Is there a fix?

This is a known issue that we will resolve as quickly as possible. The development team is aware and is working on a solution.

    Thank you for your patience.

This issue is arround for many weeks, I have posted a support request since 2nd of Feb and still no fix. Surely if a talented programmer should have at least come up with a work around solution at least, instead of leaving customers without forum search feature for weeks and weeks.

This is very frustrating for me and very much an under delivery of service for me.

At very least, please update the helpdesk tickets related to this issue so we know when we can expect a solution.

This issue only applies to Active Forums Express. We will address it this coming week.

Hi, there, it's been nearly 1 month since I've raised this issue 2 weeks since ActiveModule promised to address the issue, and I am not very happy about the fact that non of my customers can search the forums.

Surely if you devot just one developer to fix this issue it should be fixed by now. When will I get a resolution?

I know this only happens in Express editions, but I have paid money for it and surely Active Module don't discrimate customers based on what version they bought right? Isn't a bug that needs fixing in Express edition as important as other editions?

I am sorry if I sound a bit harsh but this is really frustrating the hack out of me having to wait a month for a simple fix.

My apologies again for venting my frustration and I hope I will get a fix soon.

    Thanks

Hi, the week is over, is the release delayed? If So, when can we expect the release?

    Thanks

Any update on this. This is affecting one of our customers in a very bad way. We've been waiting patiently but can not wait any longer.

Any chance you guys can provide an upgrade to standard for those of us affected by this delay? It seems the least you could do.

Beta versions of Active Forums 4.2 and Active Social 1.5 are now available to Active Forums Enterprise and Active Social Customers

Can non-Enterprise users, specifically the Express folks who are affected by this issue, download the BETA? If so, how?

Hi, thank you for putting the release out. However, now when I do a search for a term that I know definitely don't exist in my forums (e.g. monkey or donkey), threads still appear even though non of the threads contain the keyword. Should it not return nothing? I have the search searching for "Subject and Topic" + "Any Keyword" + "Topics from All".

Try http://www.optionsvet.com/Community...fault.aspx and search for any thing using any option. No matter what you type, it will always return every thread even though none of the treads contain any of my search keywords.

    Thanks
