    Hi

I have a quick question, and perhaps a future request.

The group using Active Forums solely uses the email functionality (ie mail connectors). They don't log into the website at all. The forum works EXCEPT when there is an attachment. When someone posts an attachment, the corresponding outgoing email shows a LINK to the attachment. What they really want is to have the attachment part of the outgoing email. Is it possible to change this to work this way? Thanks.

We have had enhancement requests for this functionality, but it has not been implemented yet. I do not have an estimate of when it will be added to the module.

If we were to pay you for the custom development on this functionality, would you give us a quote and get it implemented ASAP? This is an issue for us since most of the group members don't usually use desktop computers as their main device (they mostly use their smartphones).

    Thanks

We will not be adding this capability to Active Forums. We are currently working on the new open source forum module. Once that is released you will be able to customize the code to add your own functionality.
