When trying to allow access to a certain forum for a person with an apostrophed last name e.g. O'Neill, I can add them to the Security list for that particular forum but can't change their settings - I need them to be able to create and edit posts, but so far they can only view the forum ( I can't even select "Read").

As this person is the only one with problems, we assume that it's because of the apostrophe. Is there any way of getting around this without changing the name in their user account?

    Thanks in advance.

As a workaround, you could add this person to a new role. Then give permissions to that role.

We will resolve the issue with the usernames as quickly as possible.
