I have found something strange. Imagine the following:
- User is member of the DNN security group called 'Forum Admins'.
- Security group 'Forum Admins' has edit permissions on the module Active Forums on a tab.
- User from security group 'Forum Admins' opens the Active Forums Administrator control panel and changes permissions on a Forum Group, unchecks all permissions for 'All Users' and assigns 'View, Read, Create and Reply' permissions to Registered Users.
The result is that nothing is changed though the settings in the Forum Group view show that the settings are applied as described above.
If I login as Host or Admin (they have edit permissions on everything) the permissions are applied correctly.
Is this behaviour 'by design' or is this a bug?
