I was wondering if I could hear a few updates/explanations on the following things:

1. Are there plans in the works to provide an advanced search function for the forums? Specifically to enable one to search for multiple categories at once (I saw a response that this was a possible upcoming feature - has it been deployed yet)? I have found in testing the search function currently, some searches do not garner any results, even though I know what I searched for is in a particular post. For instance, when I search 'do re me fa so la ti do', a post will come up that has 'do re me fa so la ti do' in the text of the post. However, if I search 'do re me', that same post will not show up.

2. Are there plans to sync a tag cloud to the module that will pull categories or tags? Are there other tag cloud modules that can be integrated with active forums?

3. When looking at the 'My profile' section of active forums, I am interested to know more about the forum tracking section, but the manual doesn't describe it much. I was hoping it was as self-explanatory as when you click on the envelope with @ sign icon, you are then subscribed to that forum - testing though showed that nothing was sent to my mail inbox. Have I missed a step?

In the settings for each forum, for Auto Subscription, is there any way to allow not just a role to subscribe but a username/email address instead?

1. Not sure. I know we have had requests to improve the search feature, but I can not say if or when these changes will occur.

3. You will not get emails for posts created by your own account. Make sure your site actually sends emails (registrations, password reset, etc).

4. No, but you can just make a role with a single user in it.
