Is there a way that I can set myself up as Administrator so that when people see me post they'll know that I'm the one running the board?

Use the forum ranks, they will allow you to define a custom icon to show on all your posts.

Or just add it to your signature line.

You could also add it as your User Caption (User Profile - My Settings - Forum Admin Settings - User Caption).
