Mail Connector appears to be setup properly but is not importing messages automatically. What's the problem and how do I correct it?

Active Forums will add the proper entries into the DotNetNuke scheduler
during the installation process. The scheduler may not recognize the
new entries until after the application is restarted or you manually
update the scheduled task. Follow the steps below to manually start the
task:
1) Log into your portal using a Super User
Account.
2) Select "Scheduler" from under the Host menu
3)
Click the pencil icon next to the task named
"Active.Modules.Forums.MC.MailConnectorScheduler,
ACTIVE.MODULES.FORUMS.40"
4) Make sure the checkbox next to
"Enabled" is checked and click the "Update" link button.
