This error means that you are either running SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005 in SQL Server 2000 compatibility mode. If you are running SQL Server 2000, you will not be able to use Active Forums 4.0 until you upgrade your database. If you are running SQL Server 2005, then you should contact your hosting provider to make sure your database is running under SQL Server 2005 compatibility mode.

Once you have your database setup properly, you will need to uninstall Active Forums 4.0 and then reinstall. This will make sure that all of your database objects are properly created.

Please Note: If you are upgrading from Active Forums 3.7 and receive ANY errors during the install of Active Forums 4.0 DO NOT proceed with the migration until all issues have been resolved.
