How to enable Users Online

    The UsersOnline feature is disabled by default within DotNetNuke.  Please follow the steps below if you wish to enable the UsersOnline feature.

    1. Log into your portal with the Host account.
    2. Select "Host Settings" from the Host Menu.
    3. Expand Advanced Settings
    4. Expand Other Settings.
    5. Uncheck "Disable Users Online?"
    6. Click "Update"

    Now we need to enable the PurgeUsersOnline within the Scheduler.

    1. Select "Schedule" from the Host Menu
    2. Click the blue pencil next to DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.PurgeUsersOnline, DOTNETNUKE
    3. Click the "Yes" checkbox next "Schedule Enabled".
    4. Click "Update"
    Now we can enable UsersOnline from within ActiveForums.
    1. Select the "Control Panel" from the module actions menu on the page where you have ActiveForums installed.
    2. Select the "Main Options" icon.
    3. Click the check box next to Enable Who's Online if it is not already checked.
    4. Click "Update Settings"

    The Who's Online box should now appear below your main forum listing.
