I have auto-subscription on for few groups. And the members (role) of those groups have access to related material.

What happens if users register with valid emails, they join the group, then copy/download all the related material and then change their email address to a fake email.

So when a new topic is posted, the forum sends emails to this fake emails. They all bounce back. Thus putting lot of strain on MC and the server.

I was wondering whether there is a way to stop people changing their email address or if they do ask them to verify their email again. And until they verify their emails they are removed from the group role?


On other note:
Is there a way I can remove all members from a certain role without deleting that role? Maybe a sql script? I do not want to remove the role because it it linked to an active group.
