Hello,

A while back I reviewed AF for a client, and found that attachments made in posts via the web interface didn't get sent in the email to subscribers as files or links. Nor, do I recall, did attachments sent from email actually get added to the post.

Is this still the case?

Attachments are not sent out in notifications, but attachments sent to the mail connector will get added to new posts.

Do you know of any way we could at least note somewhere in the message that an attachment was included?

We are currently using another product outside of DNN, and need to switch....preferably to a DNN product, so that we can cease the extra step of syncing users and roles between the two systems.

Our issue is this client uses their forum primary through email interaction. Very few of its subsribers navigate to the web interface at all, so though the text of the messages gets sent as we need, the issue of attachments not even being noted as a part of the post is an issue.

Any thoughts?

Also, do you know if the addition of attachments is in the plan for a future release?

Oh sorry,

I tried a couple things to see if I could add some text, but I was not able to figure anything useful out.
