    • Type of Feedback: Something I hate
I know there has been much passionate discussion about where AF takes a user when they click a journal link to a thread or after they make a post on a multi-page thread. For instance, when I have my AF personal settings to order by most recent first and I click a journal link to a 2-page thread it doesn't take me to the page where the current post is that I want to view. It takes me to page 2, which is where the thread started. So then I have to scroll down to the bottom and click on the page 1 to get to the most recent post. I think I have seen Will say that is how it is supposed to work but I never really understood why. When I click a link to a post on a thread shouldn't it go to the page that contains that post?

But rather than starting another epic battle about multi-page threads I am at least requesting some type of work around that would make it a little easier to deal with.

If you put thread paging at both the top and bottom of the thread then I would not have to scroll to the very bottom of the page every time this happens. Would that be easier to implement instead of fixing the issue? Or is the issue not fixable? I still don't understand.
