    • Type of Feedback: Something I want
    Hi,
I'm currently in the process of evaluating DotNetDuke and Active Forums as a replacement for my current Community Server based site and so far its looking good.

But I do have a few issues, which either is not part of AF or that I cannot find in AF.

Today whenever a moderator (by clicking a special Moderate Delete button) deletes a post, then he gets the option of sending the poster an email (based on some customizable templates) with a short explanation why the post was deleted. This way the poster knows "what he did wrong", like posting something twice or posting a "commercial" post. The email is an option and is only send to a "normal" member, not a spammer.

A similar email is send to the poster if a moderator moves a post from one forum to another. This way the poster knows that he did something wrong and where to find his post again, and hopefully learn something from it, so that he posts to the correct forum the next time.

I would love to see this in AF, or for someone to tell me that it's possible to customize AF to behave this way.

    /Erik
