I hear complaints all the time about certain individuals not wanting to see posts from certain users.

They would like to have the ability to HIDE and UNHIDE users they select to not see.

It would then hide every post that the individual user has ever made.

Would this be possible to be implemented?

I really like this idea. It could be used as another level of defense against people posting bad stuff or spam.

For instance, I am setting up my AF now and on the site I am working on only registered users will be allow to post or even see the forums. Moderation seems a bit heavy handed plus I really don't want to mess with it. But you could have younger registered users who might post some offensive things. If we had the feature Adam talks about above the users could self-moderate. So if old Mrs. Peabody sees a slightly bad word she would have the satisfaction of BANNING the offending user from her individual eyeballs.

An idea I had on this was to integrate it into the Active Social "Blacklist".

I will say, that considering Invision Boards, phpBB (Add Foe), this is a fairly common feature that should be a "must have" in larger communities.

Any chance of these type of integrations?
