There is a lot of redundant CSS in AF. It should be cleaned up. For example, the CSS for the rating stars could be reduced probably 80% alone.

Also many attributes are uneccesarry. For example, text color and back-ground color. By reducing the usage of these settings, the forum software will adhere better to light or dark skins. Or atleast use inhertiance for these to make the CSS slimmer.
