    Hi all,

I'd like to be able to format images added to forum posts. They need margins and optionally, a border.

It's easy enough to target images inside .afpostbody img{} but that also targets emoticons at the same time. What is needed is for a new class to be injected in the img tag for attached images.

Can this be done already somehow, or if not, please take it as a feature suggestion.
    Regards

This is a good idea. We'll add an additional class. This will be in the patch release for tomorrow.

The class "afimg" was added to image attachments in 4.3.5.

Excellent thanks. I'm guessing this is for new images only as I'm not seeing the class on images already there?

It depends on how the image was added. Old posts that were created using HTML will not have the class.

Having the CSS class on images is a great addition. Does it only work for images included as attachments?

We get a lot of very large photo's embedded in posts on our site and very often they are too wide for the forum display and end up breaking the layout. I've been thinking about trying to use JQuery to identify large images and if they are too big, adjust the width and allow the original to be viewed in a lightbox.
