    Dear all,

I would ask you for your kind support. I like to have a little button (under the Avatar) to give my forum user the possibility
to write private messages. How can i do this and do it need another modul for messaging?

I would be very happy if someone can help me out!

    Thanks & Regards

You should have that by default. Have you edited your PostInfo a.k.a ProfileInfo template? The [AF:PROFILE:PMLINK] tag will put the icon there.

Hey, i just checked and yes i have that line. Maybe its important to tell you, when i go into community settings i "can't"
switch from deactivate to another state on the private message setting. Do you have an idea why? Maybe i need a special modul?

    Thanks & Regards

We use Active Social for private messaging on this site.

    Hi Dennis,
You may also want to checkout Ventrian Private Messaging. Active Forums will easily integrate with that module as well.
