I upgraded AF to 4.2.5 from 4.1.6. I'm running DNN Community 5.4.4. Using browser, FF3.6.8 and IE8 The column, Topics / Replies / Last Post, do not line up from forum group to forum group. They did before the upgrade but don't now. here is a link to my forum page. http://www.qbexchange.com/Forum.aspx Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you, Keith |

Looks like you have modified the last subject length in your template. I would suggest trying the default forumview template. |

Also, you might need to modify that theme slightly so that the main column in the forumview template stretches to 100%. |

Well that certainly did not post the way I wanted... Will, can you show us what the ForumView template should look like to achieve an aligned state for the last columm please. |

Surely there must be a fix for this somewhere. I was hoping the upgrade to version 04.02.07 might do the trick, but it still does not line up. Can anyone explain how to fix this alignment please?

The columns are aligned by default. This site uses the default templates and default theme included with Active Forums. You can see we aren't having any alignment issues. You will need to post a screen capture of the issue you are having. |

Hi Will, The columns were aligned at one point earlier in the year. This misalignment happened after an upgrade of the forum module. I have not needed to change any of the default templates. Maybe a look at the forums as they are now can help show what has happened... Thanks. Currently using Dotnetnuke version 5.5.0 and Active Forums version 04.02.07. http://www.tutorialzonline.com/Foru...fault.aspxI have not played with this forum for a while, however, have a need for looking into purchasing another version of Active Forums for another company, and so was looking to fix this issue before showing them a running version of Active Forums. It does seem like such as small issue. Since I did not touch the original templates, I thought it would be fixed in future updates so just waited. Maybe I should have requested help a few months ago... :-) Cheers, Trevor. |

That is definitely using a custom forum view template or the template isn't encoded properly. You can tell by the special characters that are being rendered instead of spaces. Since you have enterprise edition, please create a support ticket with host access and I'll take a closer look at your settings. |

The columns were aligned at one point earlier in the year. This misalignment happened after an upgrade of the forum module. It has always been as it is, the difference is a) when you post something to the forum with a longer subject and b) use a larger font and/or show more characters. I seem to remember the cells not wanting to behave correctly for me in some situations so I put a div with fixed width in the last post template. |
