It has always been a gripe when installing someone’s module that they have customized for their own website. It would be nice to have a plain wrapped module that would be a generic start for most.

Also AF is well documented for custom skinning, I am sure you plan to however for future release of Active Profile it would be nice have a user friendly skinning guide.

I did this six months ago and have lost my documentation I created and I am once again trying to customize the My Profile to match our current CSS. I can not find the blue background I beleive it's #
66ccff in any of the style sheet or ascx pages.

Of I know once I post this I will find it but can any share the location of this color so I can change it?

Bravo!!!! A skinning guide would help us tremendously.

We have MP installed on our website but had to disable it because we switched our website to a Black Background with White text theme. This virtually made the containers and modules within MP unusable and we can't locate any of the CSS that would allow us to change the templates that come standard with MP.

I am still looking to change the blue and the nav bar to match our sites design. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Guys, it's really not that hard. Agreed, you have to look around to find stuff, but it's all there.

The Nav Bar (the bar with links Send to a friend, dropdowns for modules)

It's a table that uses background images. You'll find the images in  DesktopModules\DNNFusion_MyProfile\Media

Top Nav Bar default is: bg_bar_xxxx
Lower Nav Bar default is: cp_bar_xxx
(plz note, that \DNNFusion_MyProfile\ is the old folder name, not sure of the new name)

The blue background
I'm not sure I recognize what you're taling about, but changing the default container happens in Configure, expand Display Settings, change Default Container (dropdown). I think you might be talking about the DNN skin/container, which is controlled through the module settings (for the container part).

Pretty much everything is changeable in MP (now known as AP (ActiveProfile)). I've said this many times just about everywhere, AP is the best profile module around. Still looking forward to see what ActiveModules will add/change in this module.

Ahh that one. Easy. Go to Configure (MP), expand Display Settings, change Search Box background color.

Go figure it was right under my nose the whole time thanks!

I was looking through the files and style sheets for it.
