Hello everyone, We have released a minor update for Active Profile. Our developers corrected a bug in the “See my profile” module. To update your version, please visit the “My Downloads” page on our website. If you are a former DNNFusion customer and have not yet received access to the latest downloads, please contact us. Be sure to include your invoice number. We have also released an updated version of Active Forums 4.0 for the users who have access to the preview version. Below is the new feature list for Active Forums 4.0: New Features forum members will appreciate New search capabilities multiple filter and criteria options. Points and rewards system. Improved forum navigation with AJAX Printer friendly option for topics. Email topic to a friend. Tag topics with keywords. Who’s Online with up to the minute accuracy. Improved upload capabilities for topic attachments. Use Quick Reply to quote multiple replies from multiple pages. Quickly jump to first unread post or the last post of a topic. Option to hide avatars and signatures of other users. Improved topic status capabilities. Improved method for creating polls. Improved support for mobile devices. Email notifications are sent as plaintext and html. CAPTCHA support to prevent spam from anonymous users. Automatically detect URLs in posts and convert to links. Automatically reduce the size of extra long links. Numerous performance improvements. New features moderators and administrators will appreciate 100% New AJAX based Control Panel. Intuitive, compact and easy to navigate. Dashboard with snapshot of all forum activity. Tooltips for each setting and option. New Options in Main Settings Flood interval to reduce duplicate posts or posts from bots. Edit interval to allow a user to edit their post within set period of time. Mail Queue option for high volume sites.* Delete behavior option to allow to control whether a post is deleted or moved to a recycle bin forum. Community Settings Profile Type - Specify a profile type as Disabled, Basic or Advanced The advanced option allows for easy integration with Active Profile. Private Messaging – Add private messaging without modifying templates. Specify a page that contains either our Active Messaging or Private Messages from Ventrian. Points System – Enable the points system and set point values to forum related activities. New Options for Forum Management Folder tree style display for Groups and Forums with drag and drop capabilities. Compact security grid which allows you to add security options for a specific role or user. Additional security options for moderator specific tasks. Additional templates for topic creation form, reply creation form and profile display. Feature Settings Moderation Specify a default trust setting (trusted or not trusted) for the moderated forum. Specify an auto trust level so that a user is no longer moderated after a specified number of posts. Select email templates for moderator notification, approved, rejected, moved and deleteEnable or Disable Tags Mail Connector* Choose a moderation level that will override the forum moderation setting. Allows you to moderate only topics from email. Specify an End of Message (EOM) tag that users can enter to prevent other email content from appearing in reply. Option to make sure all replies include the EOM tag. Option to remove HTML from all email posts. Auto Subscriptions* Select roles which will automatically receive email notifications for all posts to forum. Option to only send new topic notifications instead of topics and replies. New Options for Templates Ability to delete templates. Ability to create HTML and Plain Text versions for email templates. Tags Create, edit and delete tags. New features site designers will appreciate Template support for topic and reply creation form. Additional token sections for greater control of content areas. All application generated HTML is XHTML compliant. All other HTML is managed in templates. Additional tokens for more css options when displaying repeating content. I noticed the Private Messaging integrates w/ Ventrian. With the Advanced Profile be a template that can integrate with the Smart-Thinker UP? Thanks, Steve

The Advanced Profile option with the initial release will only provide support for Active Profile. However, that doesn't mean you could create your integration by using the templates. The integration points mentioned above mean that you can easily integrate without modifying any templates. It also means that we will support any issues that arise with included points of integration.
