The new forum, which will replace Active Forums and the Core Forums, has nothing to do with DotNetNuke 6.2 or 6.3. The new forum is under development now and will be released before DotNetNuke 6.2. The new forum isn't included in the core, it's a Codeplex project and handled just like the Core Forum has been handled for years.

Hi Will,
You say it will replace both Active Forums and the Core Forums. What exactly will that mean to existing users of AF or CF? Is an upgrade path going to be included in the initial project release?

Is there a place where it's possible to read more about this new project?
