Congratulations, sounds like a great fit.
Over the years we have turned down hundreds of requests for custom development and website services. Since the release of Active Social, those requests have more than doubled. Over the past two years I have explored various ways that we could better meet the needs for those customers looking for more than just a module without sacrificing our commitment to product development.
Does this mean that you will be competing with us to build web sites for customers?

Great news - since I came back to Active Forum and adopted Active Social for our new site , I've been thrilled at how Active Modules has grown and matured, and now more than ever it's making a massive difference. I can only view more expansion in this vein as a good thing! :-)
Congratulations Steven and Will! :-)

I'm glad you asked. I really tried to answer this in my post but couldn't figure out the best way to word it. As I mentioned, we get requests on a regular basis for assistance implementing our products and/or DotNetNuke. We are still updating our solution pages, but I think you will be able to see we plan to fill a particular niche. You will not see us bidding on projects or advertising "website building". Ultimately I think we will be able to help you sell more websites. We can be your "hired gun" behind the scenes or work with you and your customer directly.
I hope they don't mind me mentioning this, but we recently worked Glanton Solutions and their very high profile customer. While I think we have been doing a good job keeping up with their needs, we have still been focused on product development. Now with Active Solutions in place we can still focus on product development and also offer dedicated consulting services, which I'm fairly certain Glanton would agree would have been a benefit in the early stages of their project.

Well done Will - having Steven head up a "solutions" section is a great addition..
To follow on from Will's comment in response to

We, Glanton Solutions, are a DNN Gold Partner and all we do is build and integrate Dotnetnuke Solutions for our clients. If you are serious about building DNN then we believe it's essential to lean on others in the DNN ecosystem to provide support when you need it. We just rolled out Active Social to a very large international company, installed on their servers and integrated tightly with Active Directory. We bent AS out of shape into a top notch enterprise collaboration system - and the project could never have been such a success wiithout Will, Ben and Beth and the rest of the team standing beside us providing the first class support that they did.

That model makes a lot of sense and becomes a win/win scenario. It makes your core product offering more compelling while adding new revenue streams for you. As a customer / believer in your company and products, I want to see you become strong financially. That is good for all of us.

I guess I need to watch what I say on the forums from now on. Thanks to Will and the AM team for all the support and confidence and thanks to everyone for all the kind posts. I'm looking forward to helping out and hopefully playing a small part in moving Active Modules forward through Active Solutions. I have to say it felt a little strange to change my profile today, replace my avatar with the Active Modules icon and I'm still not quite used to seeing "Active Modules Staff" next to my name on the forum. But, my intent is to apply all that I have learned as a customer and user over the last few years (has it really been since 2006?) implementing solutions not only with Active Modules but other leading DNN modules as well as my overall experiences over the last 15 years forward so that you, your clients your users and ultimately the products themselves can help you accomplish even more than you can today.
So, thanks everyone!

I wonder if one can just seek Integration Services only instead of the complete Launch Package?

We'll be clarifying the services available in the near future. But, the idea is to provide services on an ad-hoc, project support or complete implementation basis for your (or your client's) specific needs.

Excellent move on both sides. Beyond the obvious benefit of being able to solidify/extend certain services I really like that a "customer" is being brought "in house". I only see upside as a result for all of your customers. Great move.

Sincerely congratulate you Steven,
AM was an excellent team, I wish attending you make it more successful,
I think hearing the news of joining you to AM and establishing a solution part in Activemodules, was one of the best news I have ever heard in my entire life,
Can't you imagine how much our project is important to us, How much we have tried to build it, and how much challenge we have had with AS.
So having a solutions and support section for customer projects was a superior decision by Will,
Let me say that I really envy that avatar beside your name.
Good luck Steven.
