Behaviour in both AS 1.6 and 1.7.

If I don't allow a group to have its own created forum, but instead manually associate an existing forum with the group, including the group admin amd member permissions: it will not be listed in the Discussions tab.

This is hardly a major issue since we can easily go to the Forums to access the relevant forum, and it's only one group in which I wanted to do this. However it'd be nice to have it flagged for attention, or get some ideas on what I might be doing wrong :-)

It happened to me as well and Ben fixed it for me. He said something about db not updating something.
I am using the latest AS/AF/DNN available.
    Thanks.

I believe I'm having the same issue with one group discussion as well. Is there a fix? When the discussion tab is accessed for this group your meet with an error stating:

"Please access the Module Settings page to configure this module."

"Please access the Module Settings page to configure this module."

The message above means that either the group hasn't been approved yet or forum integration hasn't been setup properly.
Check the control panel and make sure the group is approved. If it isn't, you will need to approve it from the Notifications section. I don't think we have fixed the problem with approving groups from the control panel.

Thanks for the reply Will. The group is approved. I have another group setup and it works flawlessly. Any further suggestions?

Does it have a forum listed for the group in the control panel? If not, you can just create a new forum from within the group details view in the Active Social Control panel

Thanks Will, that did the trick! I may have created that Forum through AF prior to creating the Group.
