I have a question about filters. I created some profanity filters, however they aren't working the way I had hoped, and I can't figure out how to solve the issue.

For example, I filter the word ass with ***. Now I get cl*** instead of class, etc.

How can I make it so that a it checks for both a space before and a space after?

    Cheers

    LOL

What will happen if I write Cass Information Systems, Inc on your forum?
I am using the latest AS/AF/DNN available.
    Thanks.

You can use a REGEX filter instead of a plain text filter in order to check for characters before and after the removed word.

    Ben,

I have been trying to do this. I don't know anything about REGEX filtering and it looks like I should be using /bass/b, however that is not working...

    (I am looking here - http://www.regular-expressions.info...ries.html)

    Do you have any hints?

    Cheers

It would help if I used \ instead of /

This works great \bass\b while /bass/b does not...
