Today I updated Active Forums Lite to the newest version. As requested, I herewith report errors that occured during update.
Everything seemed to go OK but before I got the message that Installation was succesful, the Website crashed, the browser saying that the Website cannot be shown. This lasted about 3 - 5 Minutes and then I could log into the site again. I went straight to Module settings to see whether the new version has been installed. It showed the new version, so I went to the Forum as requested by the Installation instructions and clicked on the control panel link and then I clicked to the update button and finally I restarted the application. Everything seems to be OK, so the only thing which was not correct, was the strange behaviour directly after the installation.

That does sound like the DNN install timeout bug. Make sure you don't have any errors in your event log that refer to Active Forums.
