Active Forums includes several options to help with search engine optimization for your content. Global options can be set under the main settings section of the control panel or you can override the settings for each forum category. Active Forums will use the global settings by default.
Page Title - Each view within Active Forums can update the page title tag for the give page. Below is an example of the default Page Title tag.
[PAGETITLE] > [PARENTFORUMNAME] > [FORUMNAME] > [TOPIC:SUBJECT]
Description - The description template is used to update the META description for the given page. Below is an example of the default description tag.
[TOPIC:BODY:250]
Keywords - The keyword template is used to update the META keywords for the given page. Below is an example of the default keyword tag.
[TOPIC:TAGS] [TOPIC:KEYWORDS:10:5] [PAGEKEYWORDS]
