Is it really Friday already?

This week went by much faster than I had hoped. This is just another brief update to let you know where we stand on the upcoming releases for Active Social 1.2 and Active Forums 5.0. Development is still progressing very well and I'm still planning to release the Active Forums 5 before the end of the month. Our Active Social customers are long overdue for a version release. We will finish the installation and upgrade testing this weekend. I expect to have Active Social 1.2 ready for release on Tuesday (8/25).

No. We have customers that have been quite happy integrating with UVG from bizmodules.net.

Will does that mean you do not plan to have video intergration?

I have been holding out using UVG because I was hoping for a total package in AS.

When you decide to include Videos in AS will we be able to import videos from UVG to AS? I don't think I would want two modules with same or similar functionality on my website.

Honestly, too soon to say with 100% certainty if we will or not, but we will keep it in mind.

Hi Will,

I assume that Active Forums will be released on the 25th aswell because in one of your previour blogs you have stated " Active Social is still closer to release than Active Forums, but both will be released at the same time since the next release of Active Social requires the latest version of Active Forums".
