I don't think this could be done with AS only.

Yes it can. I'm working on an article doucmenting the process in detail.

This would be super. Will advanced search also be able to filter search results on another field? I mean like: looking for 'xxx product' in 'xxx county'?

thanks,

Will

While working on this article I decided to make some changes in the next release.  the updates will provide more flexibility and make it much easier to manage.

Creating the tab:

Creating the template:

Will,

Is it also possible with the new changes to split the menu from the content that is shown underneath. I have playes (or better, messed) around with the profileview template but when moving the headings of the menu to a floating menu on the right hand side (based on the miniview of the profiles/groups) it was showing the content underneath the tab (under the floating menu).

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Marc

Excellent stuff Will! This is starting to look how I'd imagined it.

Will the next release also contain documentation on how I can achieve the following:
  • Add a section to ProfileView of all of my selected choices, so it will sit under My Groups for example
  • Add a section to ProfileView of all people who selected the same choice as me, with a flag to show those user who are/are not already friends
I know we always keep asking for more

The ability to control and display user categories like this will hopefully get people to become friends and interact with people who share the same interests.

cheers,

Steve

How or where do I stop the comma from displaying after each value when it is displayed in the info panel?

You can't unless it's one of our datatypes. I guess another option would be to use javascript to remove them.
