Can I please ask, what is New structure options instead of Forum Groups.

We are currently redesigning our forum groups, forums and sub forums in line with what 3.7 offers (we currently have 3.6). I just really want to know if this could affect our design, I don't want to relaunch our forums twice.

btw - i like the idea of unique icons per forum.

That's a very good question. I probably should have said "in addition to Forum Groups", because the current structure will still be the default.

The next version of Active Forums has a categorization system. This is an additional feature and you don't have to use it. However, this will allow you to create a list of categories that are common across your forums. For example, your site is about parenting and I see that you have a forum called Products. You may want to create categories for Strollers, Car Seats, Toys, etc. As your site grows, it will be much easier for your users to find specific topics of interest.

You won't have to launch your site twice. You will simply be able to enable this feature if you want.

Do i have to wait for Active Forums 3.8 release, or can i go for a 3.7 enterprise license now and get upgraded?

No, you don't have to wait. An Enterprise license will allow you to receive the next version as soon as it is released.
