Staying Logged into Active Modules Website

It seems like once I login to the AM website from a computer I pretty much never have to login again. Do you have your web.config settings to some really high numbers or is there something else going on? Is this a part of your remember me setup, or a part of the session timeout or what?
I would like to emulate this on a site, so I am curious how you all are doing it.
