I consider these bugs really, but to be charitable we'll call them feature requests.
I have my profiles module set to search by default, really my users just want to see a list. Say you page into the 5th of 15 pages. Then you click on a profile, read the profile and hit the back button. Ideally you'd still be on page 5 but you're not. You go all the way back to page 1. This is a huge pain, especially when you're not really "searching", you just want to browse all the profiles out there. I'm doing a site for my high school class and most people want to see what everyone is up to. So this functionality would be huge.
Also, say you enter a search term and click search (by the way, hitting enter in the search field should execute a search), you get back your search results and click on a profile. After reading that profile, you want to return to your search results, so you hit the back button. Your search term is gone and you're back on the first page of all profiles. Ugh.
I know this is another issue but how about this... Allow to remove the "Browse" function, or at least rework it. It doesn't apply for some club or group type sites. If I want to browse, I'll look at all of the profiles with no search criteria. Browsing by country or interests doesn't really apply to for instance a high school class.
Also, be able to remove the Relevance indicator in the results. It just confuses most users. It's a technical term to indicate how well it met the search criteria, but you don't see Google showing a relevance next to each result. People generally understand it's sorted by relevance they don't need to know the exact number.
These seem like chip shots to me, having done some dnn development and lots of asp.net development myself. They would add a lot to the usability of the product.
